Insomma, ad una certa qualitá, quantitá e manodopera, il giusto prezzo! Purtroppo in certi casi, qualcuno opta per allungarla con della paraffina ad esempio. La paraffina é una cera estratta dal petrolio ed ha una composizione simile a quella della cera d’api. Permette di vendere la cera d’api, in questo caso quindi adulterata, piú a buon mercato.
La paraffina é nociva?
Le ricerche non hanno ancora chiarito al 100% se la paraffina sia nociva per l’uomo o meno. Quel che é certo é che se compri ad esempio una candela pensando sia al 100% cera d’api (e quella sappiamo con certezza che non é nociva) e invece ne consumi una con della paraffina, si tratta di una vera e propria truffa. Deve essere cera d’api pura, nessuna eccezione!
