Ciao, sono Maria Cristina, meglio nota come Cristina, soprannominata generalmente Cri. Sono un’apicoltrice in erba. Ah! Sono nata il 30 maggio 1991 e quindi sí, oggi compio 30 anni! E allora sí, per il mio trentesimo compleanno ho deciso di autodedicarmi un post su questo blog. L’avevo in mente da un po’, anche perché dietro al nostro apiario e ai nostri progetti, beh…ci siamo noi! Proprio per questo hai tutto il diritto di sapere qualcosa di piú anche su di noi e noi tutto il piacere di aprirci a te 🙂 e di nuovo ti diamo il benvenuto qui tra noi e le nostre api!
Dicevo, sí, é da un po’ che pensavo di usare questa data per scrivere qualcosa su di me e su questa esperienza da apicoltrice in erba! Certo é che adesso dopo aver parlato di nonno Heinz e di Basti, apicoltori da una vita, ho una certa ansia da prestazione. Non so bene da dove iniziare effettivamente. A questo punto direi, iniziamo da me!
Ma quindi Cri chi? Chi sei?
Vengo da Albano S.Alessandro, in provincia di Bergamo. Vivo da quasi un anno e mezzo in Sassonia, scelta presa per amore e con coraggio visto che sono tanto legata alla mia famiglia e alla mia terra (e poi diciamocela tutta, é molto piú semplice crogiolarsi nella propria comfort zone, sei d’accordo?). Che dire? Sono bassa 1,58 m, mi piace cucinare e scrivere. Al momento sono molto concentrata sul mio percorso da apicoltrice.
Come giá accennato dal nostro primissimo articolo Perché le api sono cosí importanti? – Gaeblini, non sono mai stata amante degli insetti, peró non ho mai avuto nulla contro le api. Anzi, riflettendoci, se devo nominare quello che ho sempre provato per le api si puó riassumere con la parola rispetto. Mi é sempre stato chiaro che fossero importanti ma un po’ in modo superficiale. Quindi una sorta di rispetto che magari provi verso una persona distinta che non conosci bene, ma che ti pare sappia il fatto suo. Poi ho conosciuto Basti e con lui le sue api. Lí mi si é aperto letteralmente un mondo! Era stato come – continuando con la similitudine di prima – venire a stretto contatto e conoscere davvero la famosa persona distinta tutta d#un pezzo. Sará sicuramente la passione per le api che si respira inevitabilmente da questo nonno e questo nipote, ma non ho potuto fare a meno di lasciarmi coinvolgere.
Tu apicoltrice? Da quando??
Devo dire che una delle frasi che mi é stata detta piú spesso da quando mi sono trasferita – anche dai miei genitori eh – é stata ‘non me l’aspettavo da te!‘. Ovviamente in senso buono, con un tono misto sorpresa/orgoglio/curiositá per quello che succederá. Io quello che non mi aspettavo piú che altro era di stravolgere la mia vita all’alba dei trent’anni. Non che sia vecchia, ma é comunque un bel cambiamento. Io non so se credere al destino o meno, alla fine la strada che percorriamo ognuno se la fa da sé, peró penso che ognuno di noi sia un pizzichino predestinato a qualcosa. Ognuno é predisposto a qualcosa e/o qualcuno di base, sta a te ascoltarti e buttarti o meno.
Vero…e stai dicendo che sei predestinata alle api?
Io ti dico: mi é sempre piaciuto imparare tant’é che ho studiato per 18 anni della mia vita e dalle api c’é da imparare veramente tanto 🙂 inoltre, ho una laurea magistrale in lingue per la comunicazione e cooperazione internazionale. Cooperazione. Comunicazione. Internazionale. Durante gli studi universitari ho avuto modo di approfondire concetti quali inclusione, sostenibilitá, territorializzazione, comunicazione,… I miei studi mi hanno aiutato ad aprire ancora di piú la mia mentalitá e la mia visione generale del mondo, in cui culture o lingue diverse non sono un ostacolo ma un qualcosa che arricchisce. Le lingue che ho studiato – inglese, francese, spagnolo (tedesco work in progress) – sono un mezzo per avvicinarmi a piú concetti, idee, persone, progetti e notizie. Amo mettermi in gioco, metterci tanto cuore e impegno nelle cose che faccio. Questo probabilmente é stato allenato anche dall’esperienza da corista che ho iniziato in prima media e ho messo in pausa prima di partire per la Germania. Io, l’unica bimba del gruppo, sempre presente a prove e cerimonie. Un bell’impegno, ma che facevo con il cuore pieno di gioia. Ma cosa mi piaceva tanto?
L’insieme delle nostre voci che dava un risultato cosí armonioso ed unico, l’ascoltarsi a vicenda e portare pazienza se una canzone risultava piú complicata del previsto. Tanti sforzi, non per prevaricare l’uno sull’altro, ma per un risultato di gruppo. L’essere lí tutti insieme, alla fine per cosa? Per questa stessa passione per il canto che ci accomunava e il piacere di sentirsi vicini.
Insomma, dopo questa visione generale, non é piú poi cosí strano il fatto che mi sia avvicinata all’apicoltura una volta avuta l’occasione, no? Sento di essere sulla stessa lunghezza d’onda delle api 🙂
Cosa hai scoperto che ti ha colpito cosí tanto?
Quando si parla di api, spesso si parla di superorganismo. Difatti, si tratta di una vera e propria societá, dove ognuno fa il suo dovere con tanta dedizione. Dove ognuno si dá da fare per il bene comune, e senza sbuffare, anzi: é proprio il senso della loro vita! Vivono in funzione di tutto ció. La cooperazione alla base di tutto. E sono veramente intelligentissime, hanno un’organizzazione interna da fare invidia a chiunque davvero. Altra cosa che mi affascina sempre é che loro zitte zitte, senza manco rendersene conto, sostengono la biodiversitá con il loro ruolo di impollinatrici. Ti ricordi l’importanza di questa parola, vero? Ne avevamo parlato proprio qui che cos’é la biodiversitá e perché é cosí importante? – Gaeblini . E non solo: in tutte queste opere di vero e proprio altruismo, inconsapevolmente ci regalano anche un prodotto tanto naturale quanto buono: il miele (che per me che sono golosa, é sicuramente un punto degno di nota!).
Cosa ti piace delle api? Perché hai intrapreso questo percorso da apicoltrice?
Mi impressiona sempre come mi sento quando sono in apiario. Hai notato? Sia Basti che il nonno a questa domanda hanno risposto che si sentono calmi, e in effetti é vero! Quando lasciamo l’apiario mi sento davvero riposata, come ci si sente dopo una bella dormita. É infatti comprovato che sia gli aromi sprigionati dalle arnie che il ronzio delle api favoriscono il rilassamento e la meditazione. Ad ogni modo é sicuramente un bell’impegno da non sottovalutare, come ha sottolineato anche Basti qui Basti: da bimbo curiosone ad apicoltore tuttofare – Gaeblini… quello é poco ma sicuro! La fatica non manca, soprattutto considerando che facciamo tutto ció in parallelo al nostro lavoro a tempo pieno in ufficio. Tuttavia, con la giusta motivazione si riesce a fare proprio tutto. Sai cosa mi piace di piú? Oltre al piacere della continua scoperta? Il fatto che mi fa sentire utile e mi dá tanta soddisfazione. É veramente un’attivitá altruistica: dai tanto, ma ricevi anche tanto in cambio!
Beh il mio percorso da apicoltrice é agli inizi, soprattutto a confronto con l’esperienza di nonno Heinz e di Basti. Nonostante ció, sento di essere sulla buona strada, sulla mia strada e mi ci sento benissimo. Continueró cosí e continueró a condividere con te questo tragitto 🙂
